Orders
6 questionsPlacing an order with ResonantOceanFlow is simple. Browse our collection, select your desired item, choose your preferred colour and quantity, and proceed to checkout. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, and international bank transfers. For bespoke orders, please contact our atelier directly to discuss your requirements.
Orders can be modified or cancelled within 2 hours of placement. After this window, our atelier will have begun preparing your order and cancellations may not be possible. Please contact us immediately at info@resonantoceanflow.com with your order number. We will do our very best to accommodate your request.
Yes! Our signature ResonantOceanFlow gift presentation — a luxurious cream and wine gift box with grosgrain ribbon, tissue paper, and a hand-written personalised card — is available for €25. Select the gift wrapping option during checkout and provide your personal message. The perfect way to give the gift of Italian craftsmanship.
Absolutely. We use industry-standard 256-bit SSL encryption for all transactions on our website. Once your order has been dispatched from our Milan warehouse, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking number and a direct link to the carrier's tracking page. Products
5 questionsYes, without exception. Every ResonantOceanFlow piece is handcrafted from start to finish in our Milan atelier by our team of 32 master artisans. Each item requires between 12 and 40 hours of skilled work — from cutting and hand-stitching to the finishing of edges and hardware attachment. No machinery shortcuts are taken in any stage of our production process. Each piece carries the initials of the artisan who made it, stitched into the interior lining.
We use exclusively full-grain leather sourced from certified, sustainable tanneries in Tuscany — the finest leather-producing region in the world. Our collection also features saffiano leather (known for its distinctive cross-hatch texture and water resistance), buttery nappa leather, supple suede and nubuck, and seasonal metallic leathers. All hides are ethically sourced from by-products of the food industry and meet the highest environmental standards.
All ResonantOceanFlow pieces carry our Lifetime Craftsmanship Guarantee, which covers manufacturing defects in stitching, hardware, and construction. Normal wear and tear — the beautiful patina development, minor surface changes — is not covered, as this is the natural life of leather. However, our Milan atelier offers professional repair services for all owned pieces at any stage of their life, regardless of age or purchase origin.
Yes, through our Bespoke service we offer custom colours, personalised monograms, hardware customisation, and completely bespoke design modifications. Our artisans work with an extensive palette of Tuscan-dyed leathers. The lead time for bespoke pieces is 6–8 weeks from confirmation, and the minimum order value is €800. Please contact our atelier to begin your bespoke journey.
Each product page on our website contains a full specification section with exact dimensions: width, height, depth, strap length, and strap drop. For handbags, we also include interior pocket dimensions and approximate capacity. If you require specific measurements not listed — for example to check compatibility with a carry-on bag — please contact us and we'll measure the piece for you directly.
Shipping
5 questionsWe ship worldwide to 47 countries. European delivery typically takes 3–5 business days, and international orders arrive within 5–10 business days depending on destination. Complimentary standard shipping is offered on all orders over €350, within Europe and internationally. For orders under €350, standard shipping costs €12 within Europe and €25 for international destinations. Express and next-day options are available at additional cost. Yes! Express delivery is available at checkout. Within Europe, express shipping takes 1–2 business days and costs €18–22 depending on destination. For international orders, express shipping takes 3–5 business days and costs €28–45. Next-day delivery is available for Italy and select major European cities for €30–48. All express orders are given priority packing at our Milan warehouse.
Yes, we ship to the United States with full customs documentation and duties disclosure. Standard US delivery takes 5–7 business days via DHL Express, with full tracking throughout the journey. Express options are available. Please note that US customers are responsible for any import duties or taxes levied at the border — these vary by order value and are handled directly with US Customs.
Every ResonantOceanFlow order is packaged with the same care as the pieces themselves. Your item arrives in our signature cotton dust bag, carefully wrapped in acid-free tissue paper, and housed in our luxurious cream and wine gift box with satin ribbon. A ResonantOceanFlow care card and product certificate are included in every order. Our packaging is FSC-certified and uses minimal plastic — the box itself is entirely recyclable.
Returns & Exchanges
4 questionsWe accept returns within 30 days of the delivery date. Items must be in their original, unused condition with all original tags attached and in their original packaging, including the dust bag and box. Items that show signs of use, wear, or damage cannot be accepted for return. Bespoke and custom-made items are final sale and not eligible for return. Full details on our Returns Policy page.
To initiate a return, email info@resonantoceanflow.com with your order number and reason for return. We will respond within 24 hours with a prepaid return label (free for EU customers; €15 is deducted from the refund for international returns to cover carrier costs). Pack your item securely, attach the label, and drop it at your nearest collection point.
Once we receive and inspect your returned item (typically within 2 business days of receipt), your refund will be processed within 5–7 business days to your original payment method. Your bank or payment provider may take an additional 3–5 business days to reflect the refund in your account. You will receive an email confirmation once the refund has been issued from our side.
Absolutely! We're happy to arrange an exchange for a different colour, size, or item of equal or greater value within 30 days of delivery. Exchanges for different colours or sizes of the same item are completely free within Europe. Simply email us with your order number and the item you'd like instead, and we'll arrange everything. Price differences for higher-value exchanges will be charged at checkout.
Leather Care
4 questionsFor comprehensive cleaning instructions, please visit our dedicated Leather Care Guide. In brief: dust regularly with a soft microfiber cloth, use pH-neutral leather soap for light soiling, allow to air-dry naturally, then apply leather conditioner. Never use household cleaners, alcohol, or baby wipes on leather. When in doubt, less is more — and professional cleaning is always available through our Milan atelier.
Natural full-grain and nappa leather should be kept as dry as possible. If your bag gets caught in rain, blot gently with a dry, absorbent cloth — do not rub — and allow to air-dry naturally at room temperature. Never use a hairdryer, radiator, or oven, as heat damages leather irreversibly. Saffiano leather has significantly higher water resistance due to its wax treatment and can tolerate light moisture better than other types.
For regularly used handbags, we recommend conditioning every 3–4 months. Wallets benefit from conditioning every 6 months. Belts should be conditioned every 2–3 months due to the stress placed on the leather during use. Gloves should be conditioned at the end of each season before storage. Yes. Our Milan atelier offers professional cleaning, conditioning, and restoration services for all ResonantOceanFlow pieces, regardless of age or condition. Services range from a full clean and condition (€45–€80) to comprehensive restoration including restitching, hardware replacement, and leather re-colouring (€80–€150+). Please contact us with photos of your piece for a personalised quote.
Bespoke Orders
3 questionsOur bespoke journey begins with a consultation — either in person at our Milan showroom or via video call. You'll work directly with our head artisan to select leather type, colour, hardware, interior configuration, and personalisation details such as monogramming. A design sketch and leather samples are provided for approval before production begins. Lead time is typically 6–8 weeks from confirmation.
The minimum value for bespoke and custom orders is €800. This reflects the substantial time, skill, and materials required to create a truly unique piece. Bespoke orders are final sale — as each piece is made specifically to your requirements, returns cannot be accepted. However, we work closely with you throughout the process to ensure the result exceeds your expectations.
Yes! Personalised monogramming is available on most standard collection pieces for €45–€95 depending on the size and complexity. We offer gold or silver foil stamping, hand-painted initials, and embossed lettering. Please note that once monogrammed, items cannot be returned. Monogramming adds approximately 5–7 business days to the delivery time. Select the monogramming option on the product page or contact us to discuss your request.
About ResonantOceanFlow
3 questionsResonant Ocean Flow was founded in 1987 by master leatherworker Giulio Ferretti in Milan's Quadrilatero della Moda district. What began as a small workshop producing leather belts and wallets for local boutiques grew into one of Italy's most respected luxury leather houses. Today, the atelier is led by Giulio's son Marco, who trained under his father before studying at the prestigious Scuola del Cuoio in Florence. Read the full story on our Our Story page.
Every ResonantOceanFlow piece is made entirely in our atelier at Via della Spiga 12, Milan — the same address we have occupied since our founding. We have never outsourced production or moved manufacturing abroad. Our leathers are sourced from two family-owned tanneries in Santa Croce sull'Arno, Tuscany, with whom we have maintained exclusive partnerships for over 25 years. Made in Italy is not a label for us — it is our identity.
Sustainability is central to how we operate. All leathers are sourced as by-products of the food industry — no animals are raised solely for leather. Our tannery partners hold the highest environmental certifications including ICEC and Leather Working Group Silver. Our packaging is FSC-certified and plastic-free. Our atelier is powered by renewable energy. We believe longevity is the ultimate sustainability — a ResonantOceanFlow piece made to last a lifetime is the most responsible choice a consumer can make.
